Photos of Nits
Lice eggs or nits are two different colors depending on if they have hatched or not. If they have hatched, they are white. If they have not hatched, they are a darker brown color. It is VERY important to try to get all the nits out of your hair. These photos of nits should help you identify them.

	Nit or lice egg 2 days old.
	Viable nit 1 day before hatching.
	Empty egg already hatched.
	Dead nit that didn't hatch.
	Dust or dandruff can look like a nit.
