Photographs of Head Lice
What do lice and nits look like? Here are some examples.
Photos of Lice
Be armed with knowledge. Know your enemy (head lice) and be prepared to attack them until you defeat them. Think of this as a War on Lice rather than just one battle. Know your enemy by knowing what they look like. Here are some photographs of head lice.

Photos of Nits
Lice eggs or nits are two different colors depending on if they have hatched or not. If they have hatched, they are white. If they have not hatched, they are a darker brown color. It is VERY important to try to get all the nits out of your hair. These photos of nits should help you identify them.
